R100 per person extra for breakfast at the Tulbagh Hotel.

Payment: We require a 50% deposit to confirm a booking. Your proof of payment must be sent to reservations@tulbaghhotel.co.za or 023 230 0071 in advance. The outstanding amount must be settled 2 Days before arrival, use your surname & arrival date as reference when you make an EFT payment.

Cancellation: within 30 days of booking: deposit non-refundable and within 7 days of booking: complete cost of stay non-refundable.
Premature Departure: in the event of an early departure you will still be charged the full price of the confirmed booking.

Check-in: Check-in time is at 2pm
Check-out: Check-out time is at 11am. A late check-out can be arranged, subject to availability.

Bain’s Barn, dating from 1801, offers centrally located, self-catering accommodation in historic Church Street, Tulbagh. Its Cape Dutch architecture features a thatched roof, sleeps two guests in one bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, has a fully equipped kitchen and offers a spacious lounge area and a secluded courtyard.

The ever so romantic en suite bedroom opens onto the secluded courtyard which is decorated with pebble stones and features a beautiful pink bougainvillea tree. The room is equipped with a queen sized bed, high grade cotton linen, towels, a panel heater, electric blanket and a hair dryer.

The fully fitted open plan kitchen, equipped for two people, includes an electric oven, fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, pots, pans, cutlery and crockery.

The spacious lounge area is tastefully decorated and furnished to the highest specifications with modern conveniences such as flat screen TV with selected DSTV.
